About the Role
We are looking for a GCP Security Architect with expertise in Cloud Armor, WAF, and cloud security architecture. You will design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructures, ensuring compliance and protection for critical enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement secure cloud architectures using GCP services including Cloud Armor, Load Balancing, Cloud CDN, and VPC Service Controls.
Develop and enforce security policies, IAM roles, and WAF configurations.
Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate security controls across CI/CD pipelines.
Lead threat modeling, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies for GCP workloads.
Implement DDoS protection, rate limiting, and geo-based access controls.
Maintain infrastructure security standards, reference architectures, and automation templates (Terraform / Deployment Manager).
Mentor teams on cloud security best practices and regulatory compliance (SOC2, PCI, ISO 27001).
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years in cloud security or architecture.
Hands-on experience with GCP Security services, including Cloud Armor, IAM, VPC, Load Balancer, and Cloud CDN.
Experience with Terraform or Deployment Manager for IaC.
Knowledge of zero-trust security, network security, and container security (GKE, Anthos).
Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with technical and business stakeholders.
GCP certifications (Professional Cloud Architect or Cloud Security Engineer) preferred.
Multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
