About the Role
As a Data Strategy and Governance Lead, you will act as a strategic partner to our clients, helping them define and implement data governance strategies, operating models, and frameworks that enable scalable, business-driven and compliant data management. This role combines advisory, strategy, and technical expertise, offering you the opportunity to contribute to building organizations that manage and leverage their data in a smart, efficient, and sustainable way.
5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or related roles;
Hands-on experience with Alation in enterprise environments (implementation, configuration, or operating model design);
Strong understanding of Data Governance concepts such as Glossary, Data Quality, RDM, and Lineage;
Hands-on experience querying databases using SQL or similar technologies;
Client-facing experience or strong stakeholder management skills;
Guide clients in implementing and adopting data mesh and other data governance approaches;
Advise clients on establishing a data governance structure, including designing roles such as data stewards and -owners;
Good understanding of modern data platforms and cloud environments.
Manage compliance with GDPR and EU AI Act (risk classification, documentation).
