About the Role


As a Data Strategy and Governance Consultant, you will be a strategic partner to our clients, helping them establish and embed robust frameworks and processes to ensure effective data governance. This role combines advisory, strategy, and technical expertise, offering you the opportunity to contribute to building organizations that manage and leverage their data in a smart, efficient, and sustainable way.

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or related roles;

  • Hands-on experience with data governance platforms in a professional environment;

  • Strong understanding of Data Governance concepts such as Glossary, Data Quality, RDM, and Lineage;

  • Hands-on experience querying databases using SQL or similar technologies;

  • Client-facing experience or strong stakeholder management skills;

  • Guide clients in implementing and adopting data mesh and other data governance approaches;

  • Advise clients on establishing a data governance structure, including designing roles such as data stewards and -owners;

  • Good understanding of modern data platforms and cloud environments.

  • Manage compliance with GDPR and EU AI Act (risk classification, documentation).

Other Job Requirements:

  • Located in Lisbon, Portugal, or open to relocating candidates currently based elsewhere in Europe to Lisbon, Portugal.

  • We embrace a hybrid work approach, with 3 days in the office and two days working remotely. Spending time in the office is essential for building in-person connections, fostering teamwork, and facilitating productive whiteboarding sessions and brainstorming.
